[Feature] Stop all oxygen and stamina depletion while talking to a NPC.
Got very low oxygen and had to click through the story to survive and missed some lore because of it.

EMMANUELI Agree everything feels rushed and i can enjoy the voice lines as you constantly have to worry for hunger and oxygen.

PumathangSame goes for the research/crafting menu. As a new player who's trying to get the hang of how the UI works and where everything is located, I always feel like I'm rushing through and can't read the list from top to bottom to "register" it in my brain. I want to be able to read what research gives me and what's required to unlock it, or peruse newly available options without fear of being attacked by a nearby creature.

KM Dave AdminWith the addition of settings in 0.50, we feel this won't be necessary. That being said we are investigating the option of pausing stats while inside the Oasis or Octomian base.

General RendarI mean, this isn't the end of the world after you realize that it's happening, but it is difficult to recover from as a new player if you make this mistake. I haven't played hardcore mode yet, I'm still refining my base building skill. I would imagine this being AWFUL to deal with this on the hardest mode.

ChrisTime is tough to manage while you are figuring the world out as a new player, I didn't really understand how important it was until it was too late. A new player mode that's a little more relaxed on this, as well as pausing while in the main map, figuring the game out etc would be awesome, then maybe a normal mode without this stuff.

TricksterI agree with this. It is kinda annoying that O2 and hunger stats DROP when talking to a NPC, which is suppose to be that the conversation at least stops anything from occuring like in most RPG games.
